“Everything done in the world is done by hope” - Martin Luther

A future where Cancer, Alzheimer’s, and Dementia are no longer life sentences—fueled by hope, innovation, and collective action.

Having hope is one of the best things you can do.

Hope is necessary. 82% of all people who live to the age of 55 will be diagnosed with some form of Dementia or Cancer. In the face of looming odds against us, we must have hope and never settle for less than the achievement of a cure.

Our Mission

To accelerate the advancement of research and innovation in the fight against cancer, Alzheimer's, and dementia by leveraging creative fundraising experiences that engage communities, honor automotive culture, and empower breakthrough science.

Josh Bresnahan is a successful entrepreneur with a passion for giving back through his love for cars. Mr. Bresnahan started his own business development agency after graduating from high school. He worked directly with C Suite executives to increase revenue, brand awareness, and improve overall strategy. After working with many companies across the U.S. and Canada he decided to exit to pursue his passion for the automotive world. Mr. Bresnahan was one of the key designers for his father, Tom Bresnahan’s, 1955 Nomad that won the 2025 Ridler Award after beginning the project 10 years prior. Mr. Bresnahan’s passion for the Hope In Mind cause stems from having had two grandparents with cancer, one grandparent with dementia, an aunt with dementia, and both parents having survived cancer, which he himself is now screened yearly for and been declared “high-risk” to develop as well.

  • Founder & CLO

Tom Bresnahan is an experienced businessman in the logistics industry. Mr. Bresnahan has worked in logistics for nearly four decades, with half of that time being spent running his own logistics company previously known as Quality Transit, before being acquired by another company. While in pursuit of building his 1955 Nomad named “Gray Madder”, he and his wife were both diagnosed with the most aggressive form of skin cancer. After winning their battle, they went on to win the 2025 Ridler award. Mr. Bresnahan’s connection with Hope In Mind’s cause is directly tied with his own battle, as well as losing his father to cancer when he was a young man.
